The Fifth Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the Association of Ethiopian Pediatric Surgeons was successfully concluded, bringing together national and international experts, pediatric surgeons, trainees, partners, and collaborators committed to advancing pediatric surgical care in Ethiopia.
Under the theme “Transforming Pediatric Urologic Care in Ethiopia: Milestones Achieved, Innovations Ahead,” the conference offered a truly enriching experience of international academic exchange, multidisciplinary collaboration, and shared learning. The participation of distinguished international faculty significantly strengthened the scientific depth and global perspective of the meeting.
A key highlight of this year’s AGM was the successful transition of leadership. We extend our sincere appreciation to the outgoing Executive Committee for their dedicated service, commitment, and invaluable contributions to the growth of AEPS and pediatric surgical care in Ethiopia.
